Drip Cafe opened it’s doors in April 2013 and quickly began to outgrow their brand image. I joined their team as a full-time Marketing Manager and took over all aspects of branding and design for the restaurant, starting with a small logo tweak. Their original logo felt ‘homemade’ and didn’t reflect their clean, modern image. Also, the tagline made them feel like a basic coffee shop, and didn’t convey that they are a full-service restaurant, so I simplified it to better explain what they’re about. I also replaced the handwritten tagline font by using the uppercase characters from the the main logo font.
